I personally believe that the 22kHz, 16bit, mono was better than the 44kHz, 8bit, mono. The sound quality were similar but the ambient noise was much louder in th 44kHz file.

I personally do not see any difference in quality between the 3 files. They all sounded the same to me. The only thing that I noticed was the file size got smaller from left to right.
