Euphonium Solo Competition

Eligibility Open to all students/amateurs. Professionals are not eligible regardless of their student status. There are no age restrictions. Contestants must be registered for the conference at the time of the competition. Acceptance will be limited to the first 24 completed applications: first come, first served. A minimum of 10 entrants is required for the competition to occur.
Fee $10.00
Literature One solo (may be multi-movement) of the contestants choice.
Accompaniments All solos with accompaniments MUST be accompanied. Accompanists will be available for a fee at the conference. Accompanist request are included in the registration forms. Students requesting an accompanist will be given their accompanists information and it is the responsibility of the student to arrange a rehearsal time with their accompanist.
Time Competitions are limited to 10 minutes. There will be no penalty for students being stopped during the performance for time considerations.
Prizes $125 first place; $100 second place; $75 third place.

Instrumentation Any quartet combination of tubas or euphonium is acceptable.

Prizes $500 first place; $400 second place; $300 third place.
