Biomechanics Research Laboratory at the
University of Missouri - Kansas City is
dedicated to developing musculoskeletal models
for investigating joint function and loading.
Computational models and experimental work
provide information on joint loading during
motion. This can benefit: the design and
refinement of prosthetic joints, tissue
engineering, joint injury and therapeutic
strategies, and understanding and prevention of
degenerative joint disease. |
